Answers to Four Questions

Question 1
Value of QiD to any customer

QiD lets you prove who you are once, see every organization that holds your data, control what they can do with it, and revoke access with a tap.

Five capabilities
What QiD does that nothing else can

The Tap — one-gesture biometric authorization

Every identity disclosure authorized with a single biometric gesture — the same motion as unlocking your phone. Consent + authorization + receipt in one gesture. No forms, no redirects, no "Accept All" dark patterns.

The Map — see everything, control everything

An interactive visualization of every organization that holds your data. What they hold, when you shared it, what purpose they stated. Next to each relationship: a "Revoke Access" button that works instantly. No other identity platform shows users their complete identity footprint with real-time revocation.

The Receipt — cryptographic proof of every exchange

Every identity disclosure generates a signed evidence receipt: who requested, what was shared, for what purpose, and a timestamp. Immutable. Auditable. The receipt protects both sides.

Graduated Identity — three tiers, every context

One universal star system. ⭐ Recognized. ⭐⭐ Verified (government ID + liveness — the portable credential threshold). ⭐⭐⭐ Proven (earned through sustained activity). The same star means the same thing at a fan club and a bank.

Portable Credentials — verify once, use everywhere

Verify for Chelsea FC → use it at Barclays. Verify for a creator → use it at a bank, marketplace, or any service that accepts QiD. The average adult verifies their identity 10-15 times per year. QiD turns that into one verification and unlimited taps.

Differentiation
vs. every competitor

vs. ID.me

157M verified users but a walled garden — credentials only work inside their network. No user-facing ledger, no selective disclosure, no creator communities, no evidence receipts.

vs. Clear

Biometric identity for physical access (airports). No digital portability, no consumer data ledger, no consent management, no fan/audience layer.

vs. Clerk

Best developer DX in market — but authentication only, not identity. No verified credentials, no audience proof, no evidence receipts, no selective disclosure.

Research frontier
Passkeys as continuous liveness

QiD is exploring replacing periodic liveness checks with passkey authentication. Every passkey login with userVerification: required demands a biometric — proving a live human is present. The initial identity proofing (government ID at ⭐⭐) binds the legal identity. Every subsequent passkey login confirms that person is present. Result: liveness at every login, zero friction, dramatically richer credential freshness data.

Traditional model

Periodic · High friction · User resents it

Liveness verified every 90 days. Between checks, no signal. Re-verification feels punitive.

Passkey model

Continuous · Zero friction · User loves it

Liveness at every login — potentially daily. The biometric tap feels like unlocking a phone, not completing a compliance form.

Question 2
Ranked value stacks for each user class

Each persona class has a ranked stack — ordered by the intensity of the need. These drive UX design, pitch scripts, and the product roadmap.

Creators
What creators get — ranked by impact
1
Your verified audience is worth more than your follower count
2-3× premium on brand deals backed by government-verified demographics

Protect your name, image, and likeness — with legal teeth
UCC Article 12 enforceable identity record; defense against LLM replication
3
Own your audience — stop renting from algorithms
Direct channel, portable fan data, no algorithm dependency
4
Brand deal marketplace — deals come to you, backed by data
Brands search by verified audience demographics, submit briefs directly

Migration path — bring your Patreon/YouTube community
AI-assisted seeding file maps tiers, imports content, drafts migration emails
10
Start from day one — build verified audience at 200 followers
Maturation data accumulates from the first fan
Fans
What fans get — ranked by emotional pull
1
The inner circle — content and access only real fans get
Behind-the-scenes, early releases, AMAs — the stuff not posted anywhere else

The credential you'll use for the rest of your life
Verify once, use everywhere — fan clubs, banks, apps. Never fill out another form.
3
The Map — see everything, control everything
Every org that has your data, visible and revocable with a single tap
4
Your creator knows you're real — and you can prove it
Verified badge, fan leaderboard, visible to the creator by name

Per-instance consent with The Tap; cryptographic proof of every exchange
9
One community, everywhere — all fan relationships unified
One identity, one dashboard, all creators
10
Your data is safer than anywhere else online
More secure than Discord, more transparent than Facebook
Brands
What brands get — ranked by ROI impact
1
You're paying for real humans — proof, not promises
4.3× better CPA; every fan passed a government ID check and liveness verification
2
Demographics you can bet your budget on
From government-issued documents, not behavioral inference or tracking pixels

Every data access: explicit, per-instance, revocable consent with receipts
5
Community maturation — audiences that improve over time
The only targeting signal that gets stronger; Facebook/Google signals are degrading
6
Superfan segmentation — the 3.5% that drives 35% of conversions
Target ⭐⭐⭐ Proven fans separately; 8.4% conversion vs. 0.8% unverified
7
Brand safety you can verify, not just hope for
BentPixels evidence layer: authenticity scores, safety assessments
8
Campaign measurement against verified delivery
Every number in the report corresponds to a confirmed real person
9
Open calls — creators pitch you
Post a brief, get matched creator pitches in 48 hours
10
Sponsor the verification — associate your brand with trust
Brand funds fan verification; associated with trust-building, not just selling
Question 3
ID.me case study — verified identity → higher ACV brand deals

ID.me is the most prominent verified-identity-to-brand-deals platform. Their model validates the core thesis: verify once, create a portable credential, monetize the trust layer by charging brands for access to verified communities.

Scale

Revenue growth370% between 2020-2023
User retention92% over 24 months (3+ partner engagement)
Revenue per verified user/year~$1.88
How it works
The ID.me model
Users verify once (government ID + selfie biometric) → verified credential in digital wallet
Verified status unlocks exclusive discounts from 600+ brand partners
Communities: military, veterans, students, teachers, first responders, nurses, healthcare workers
Brands pay per successful verification — transaction-based, not subscription
Cold start solved by government mandates (IRS, VA, SSA required ID.me for access)
Result: verified users spend 43% more, convert at 5.4× ROI, retain at 92% over 24 months
Critical
The key assumption

This is the assumption the team must validate

The 43% higher AOV and 5.4× ROI that ID.me demonstrated for verified communities will transfer to the creator economy context. ID.me verified static affinity groups (military, students). Marquee verifies dynamic creator audiences. The verification mechanism is the same (government ID + liveness). The brand value is the same (confirmed real humans with verified demographics). The audience type is different (creator fans vs. institutional affiliations). This assumption must be validated through Marquee's first brand campaign pilot — a $50K test where results are measured against the brand's existing benchmark.

Differentiation
Why Marquee is different from ID.me

Portable, not walled

ID.me credentials only work within their network. Marquee credentials are portable — verify for a creator, use at a bank.

Transparent, not opaque

ID.me has no user-facing data ledger. Marquee has The Map — see everything, revoke anything.

Creator-mediated, not institution-defined

ID.me communities are static (military, student). Marquee communities are dynamic, personal, emotionally driven — built around creators.

Maturing, not static

Marquee adds community maturation metrics that show audience trajectory — freshness, cross-context usage, tier depth. ID.me has no equivalent.

Question 4
Solving the cold-start problem with creator clusters

The optimal launch unit is a cluster of 5 YouTube creators with overlapping fan bases — identified by BentPixels data, launched together. Scored 9/10 on ease of GTM, risk elimination, speed, and certainty.

Why clusters
Why this beats every other approach

Portability proven on day one

If Creators A and B share 40% audience overlap, a fan who verifies for Creator A taps into Creator B's fan club instantly — already verified. The portable credential moment happens in the first session.

Small enough to execute perfectly

Five phone calls, not 500. One BentPixels account manager. One week to onboard. Content gated in week two.

Friends promote each other naturally

These creators already appear in each other's content. The cross-promotion is authentic. The content collaboration IS the marketing.

Brand deals are immediate

BentPixels already has brand relationships. A cluster represents combined verified audience data no single creator provides.

Replicable

If Cluster #1 works, copy-paste to #2, #3, #4. Each cluster is an independent experiment. Risk is isolated, learning compounds.

Execution
The first 90 days
Week 1–2

Identify and recruit Cluster #1

BentPixels identifies 5 creators with 30%+ mutual overlap, combined 1M+ unique audience, 85%+ authenticity. Personal outreach with founding terms.

Week 3–4

White-glove onboarding

All 5 verify (⭐⭐). Each gates 5-10 pieces of exclusive content. BentPixels provides content strategy.

Week 5–6

Coordinated launch

All 5 announce simultaneously. Cross-promotion is natural. Total addressable: 1M-3M fans.

Week 7–8

Verification wave

Target: 10K-20K verified fans. Fans who verify for one creator discover instant access to the other four.

Portability demonstrated within the first session
Week 9–12

First brand deals

BentPixels brand team pitches verified audience data. Target: 2-3 deals. Campaign results = case study for Cluster #2.
